Welcome to the home of the Central New York Group (NY134), New York Wing.

For over 65 years, the volunteers of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) have served the country and their local communities through CAP's Congressionally chartered missions of emergency services, aerospace education, and cadet programs.

Central New York Group has provided search and rescue and humanitarian assistance during such events as the 1998 ice storms in Jefferson County, the Sara Anne Wood and Heidi Allen searches, and Hurricane Floyd.

Cadets in Central NY have gone on to successful military and civilian careers, including acceptance to military service academies, and jobs in commercial aviation.

I invite you to find out more about CAP and the 134th, our Group staff, and the squadrons that provide cadet and adult programs in their local communities.

Semper Vigilans!

Maj Carl Anthony
Commander, Central New York Group
