33 Complete Radio Operator Courses
SYRACUSE -- Thirty three cadets and senior members in the Civil Air Patrol's Central New York Group completed both basic and advanced radio operator courses in March at Hancock Field Air National Guard Base, Maj. Carl Anthony, group commander, announced.
The instructors were Lt. Col. Tom Carello, Maj. Nancy Bridges and Maj. James Edmonds.
Those completing the courses may now get mission experience in radio communications in the field or at mission base during search-and-rescue exercises, explained 2nd Lt. Matt Mallory, group communications officer.
